What you are buying

A pre-order for the Self-Tape Audition Coach app: $9, once, no subscription. The app does not exist yet. You are paying a deposit on software being made, and you get the app at launch plus the launch price locked in.

You are not buying access to anything today. The browser demo on this site is free and always will be; you do not need to pay for it.

When it ships — and the condition

The app depends on camera tracking that is not yet proven against a real person in a real room. That is an open engineering question, not a marketing hedge. We are testing it in parallel with this pre-order rather than making you wait for it.

• If the tracking works: the app ships to you by 15 October 2026.
• If it doesn't work, or the answer isn't clear by then: it does not ship, and you are refunded in full.

The three ways you get your money back

1. You ask. Email refunds@shovelware.ai from the address you paid with and say "refund". No reason needed, no time limit, no form, no retention offer. Refunded within 5 business days.
2. We miss the ship date. If 15 October 2026 passes and the app has not shipped, every outstanding pre-order is refunded automatically. You do not have to notice, chase, or ask.
3. We cancel the project. If we decide not to build it — including because too few people pre-ordered — every pre-order is refunded and we say so publicly on the status page.

Refunds go back to the card you paid with, through Stripe. If your card has since expired, email us and we will sort it out another way.

What we do with your email

We email you when the app ships, if it ships, and if it doesn't. That's the whole list. We don't sell it and we don't send anything else. See privacy.
