Your camera and microphone never leave your device

The browser demo runs entirely on your own machine. The video and audio are processed in the page and are never uploaded, never recorded, and never sent to any server — not ours, not anyone's. Close the tab and nothing of it exists. You can verify this: open your browser's network panel while the demo runs and you will see no video or audio leaving.

Analytics, including session recording

We use Umami, self-hosted on our own server, to see which pages people visit and where the pre-order flow loses people. It is cookieless.

We also record browsing sessions. That means your clicks, scrolling and navigation on this site are captured and can be played back by us as a reconstruction of the page. This is used to work out why people abandon the pre-order, and nothing else.

• Everything you type into a form field is masked before it is stored — we cannot read your name, email or payout details from a recording.
• The camera demo is excluded from recording entirely. No frame of your video is ever in a session recording.
• Recordings are deleted after 30 days.
• We honour your browser's Do Not Track setting.

Payment

Card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We keep your email address, the amount, and whether it has been refunded.

Your email

Used to tell you what happened with your pre-order — shipped, delayed, or refunded. Nothing else, never sold. Ask us to delete it at any time: refunds@shovelware.ai.
